MILESTONE FOR LOWER KIRBY WITH NEW CONNECTION TO CLEAR CREEK TRAIL |
We are excited to announce the completion of the new Lower Kirby trail, a pivotal achievement aligned with the Pearland Prosperity community strategic plan. This plan places a strong emphasis on enhancing the quality of life of Pearland residents through various improvements, with a special focus on parks and trails.
Construction of this 1.25 mile trail commenced earlier this year. The trail winds along the western bank of a detention corridor, originating from Endress+Hauser's facility on Beltway 8 and extending all the way to the pedestrian bridge at Clear Creek. Noteworthy features of the trail include two strategically placed shade structures, concrete bench seating for comfortable rest areas, and thoughtfully designed landscaping in shaded sections. |
